First Day of School

We started our day at the kitchen table and played with different colored play dough.

We had some time to play with toys and socialize with each other.

Here was our first picture together. (Monday/Wednesday class)

Look at our smiles! This was taken at the end of the day.

We had to take a semi-serious picture and then a silly one.
(Tuesday/Thursday afternoon class)

My 3 years old class was so excited to be at school for the very first time!

The start of a new year, new friends, new experiences, and a new school is always exciting and a little scary. However, we made it through and and had a wonderful time together!

Open House

We had open house today and met the teacher and some new friends. We went on a classroom scavenger hunt and found the blocks to build a tower.

We played with the tools.

We played with cars on the train table.

We found our names in the basket and colored them.

We talked and laughed together.

We made school buses out of Twinkies, jelly lifesavers, and chocolate chips.

We took home an apple cupcake. (Betsy, who made the cupcakes, is a cake decorator. Check out her work at https://sites.google.com/site/cakesbybetsy). The leaves were made out of sugar paper and could be eaten as well as the licorce stem. Too adorable!
